Palang Shak Bhaja

Palang Shak Bhaja

Palang shak tastes very good if green peas are added. Put a small amount of oil , heat it, and apply phoron of green chili and mustard. When it is fried, add the palang shak and green peas. Put a lead on the pan and simmer. Water will come out of the vegetable and it will get cooked in that water. After some time you will hear a sound indicating that the water has dried. By then the vegetables are cooked. At this stage you may add a slight bit of sugar (optional).

In order to make it even more tasty, take another pan, apply a bit of oil, add some posto, fry it, and mix with the cooked palang shak. See what difference it makes in taste.

If you do not have green peas, ground-nut can also be fried and mixed with the cooked shak for taste. You may also make a combination of all three options – green peas, posto, and ground nut.
